Moonlit Sunshine

Beyond myself, beyond this time,
Beyond the sound of music and chime,
Beyond the ocean, vast enough,
Beyond this path, hard and rough,

Beyond all that’s called love,
Beyond the beauty of dove,
Beyond the might of flame,
Beyond the dirty games,

Beyond the height of the sky,
Beyond the mourning cry,
Beyond the money of the rich,
Beyond the hardest pitch,

Beyond everything I say,
I love you, mother, I may
Wish to take you with me,
Up the mightiest tree,

To sleep the sleep of peace,
With my hands on your knees,
With my head on your lap,
Away from the Fake unholy trap.

To be fed with your food that forever
Beats even the best fruit flavor
And smile with inexplicable joy
When you give me the sweetest toy

And tell me to forget every pain
To want the sunshine and rain
To tread on and on with lot of care
To be kind to all, To give, To share

Then you ask me to look at God
And ask not for glory to the Lord,
But for the strength to live and endure
Every ailment without a cure,

Then you pray for me alone,
To thank Him for the good he has shown,
To ask Him to hold me through the ugly and the bad,
To wish that true love to this world, I add.

O mother, you’re so beautifully true,
I know not how when I am blue,
You tear apart every sorrow and agony,
And make my life as sweet as honey

You’re just the best mother I say,
I know that my life is a play,
But it’s you, who has been holding it with care,
Since I first lay on your hand, my fingers, little, bare.

You are the one that I shall die for,
Even if there should be a war,
Of Fate and Choice, I will stand by you,
Wherever you go, I will follow you.

We shall fight every peril together,
