A great day, should I call you,
When you were pale and I was blue,
In Day and Night, does it all manifest,
No, try not, you rather forever rest.
Never was it easy to get over this,
Every minute in you I’d never miss,
Right and wrong did play a game,
And who won is just as lame.
Where were you during the joy galore?
A second of success, love and more,
In you, I’d seen this one good hope,
Till you, dear bad day, got me a rope
So I can worry and hang someone to death,
Never was this yearning for that little wreath,
Out here and now, you smirk at me,
Gracefully you shall depart and see
Love and peace make a new tomorrow,
O day, take away all this sorrow,
Ring your bell in the ears of the weak,
You have gone away to let tomorrow speak..
