Random Resilience

Janani
The heart has forgotten to cry,
Because it is forbidden,
This soul doesn’t wish to try,
You say good riddance.

The eyes have lost their might,
Never meant to speak,
They can say dark from bright,
Though they remain bleak.

The mind had won battles before,
But the world has come,
To win wars, more and more,
And declare it dumb.

The hands that lived a life together,
Now point away.
They are too dead to let you bother
Come what may

The one thing that is left is me,
To rise up to it
But this is all I am forced to see
This tiny bit

That is better left ignored, neglected,
It is gone too.
Is it worth feeling dejected,
To feel blue?

Not if it were up to you, society,
You say, ‘It’s preposterous’,
You say with all the feigned beauty,
‘O my, it’s inglorious!’

While life ends with death alone,
You defy,
You end it with life itself, forlorn,
I can’t try,

To get my life back because
It never was here
So right now, I take a pause,
to go near

my destiny that seems so far,
away and unreachable,
Yet, I strive to jump and get par,
Society, so insatiable.

But I need God by me all along,
To bless, to guard
Me through this lovely song,
Through every yard..
